The National Social Assistance Programme 2019 (NSAP) launched on 15th August 1995. The NSAP scheme come under the government of India. The scheme provides financial help to old age, in case of unemployment, disability, widows in the form of pension.

Main sub-scheme of NSAP:

Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS) – this scheme for the windows below the poverty line and of age in between 40-64.
Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS) – This Scheme is for Everyone who is 18 years and above with more than 80% disability and living below the poverty line.
National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS) – Scheme is especially for the person who is in the bread-winner (a person who earns money to support their family, typically the single one) of age in between 18-64.
