Aadher Card Registration – Before an Aadhar card can be issued to any citizen of India, the citizen is required to go through the process of registration. Registration for the Aadher card is only open to citizens and residents of India.
Those who live outside India are not allowed to enroll for the card. Aadhar card registration follows simple processes. These processes are discussed below:

Step 1: Aadher Card Registration Centre
The first step in registering for Aahder card is to find an Aadhaar registration center near where you live. Step 2: Complete the Registration Form

Step 3: Submit the Form
The next step after completing the registration form is to submit the form with the required supporting documents such as the proof of address and the proof of your identity.
Step 4: Submit Your Biometric Data
When you have successfully submitted your form, and your supporting documents have been accepted, the next step is to provide your biometric data which will include the fingerprints and the iris scan. Your picture will also be taken as part of this process.
Step 5: Collection of Acknowledgment Slip
Upon the successful completion of the above processes, you will be given the acknowledgment slip that has 14-digit enrolment number. This slip is used to check your Aadher status. It is essential you keep the slip in a safe place until you collect your Aadher card.
The Aadher card takes about 90 days (Three months) to process and delivered to your address due to the high number of people enrolling for the card. The card is usually sent through the India post. However, you can download an E-Aadher card with your enrollment number if you are in a hurry to make use of the card pending when the printed copy will be sent to you.

1. Document-Based Registration
This approach is the same as the one described above. All that is required here is to get your proof of identity and address documents verified. Once you have verified these two things, you can enroll for your Aadher card.
2. Head of Family-Based Registration
The head of the family can also introduce the family members with the use of documents to establish a proof of relationship. Once this is verified, family members can enroll for the Aadher card.
3. Introducer Based Registration
In the absence of a valid evidence of identity and proof of address, you can use an introducer registration method to get your Aadher card. An introducer must be a person appointed by Registrar, the person must have a valid Aadher number before he/she can serve as your introducer. An introducer will stand for you when enrolling for your Aadher card.
All about the need for aadhar card:
Ensure the resident has original verification documents. Copies approved by a municipal notary / gazetted officer will be recognized where original documents are inaccessible.
The documents produced by the aadhaar registration / actualization resident must only be in the list of documents approved.
This format is intended for officials / institutions to issue certificates for ID and Address Proof (only those recognized in the valid document list of the UIDAI) as referred to in Appendix A / B.
If you suspect forged / altered documents, verifier can refuse verification. When the verifier refuses to verify the documents produced, reasons should be briefly included in the verifier’s registration form.

Check the name, birth date, address and relationship details respectively with the PoI, DoB, PoA, PoR.
PoI requires a document with the name and photograph of the resident. Check that the document supports both.
If the presented PoI document does not contain the resident’s photograph, it will not be accepted as a valid PoI. Records with older images are appropriate to be inclusive and clear of abuse.
Through asking the resident for his signature, check the name of the paper. This guarantees that the citizen buys his own papers.

Where two documentary proofs produced by the enroller vary in the same name (i.e. with initials and full name), the full name of the enroller should be recorded.
Kids and babies may not have been called yet, occasionally. Try to ascertain the child’s expected name by demonstrating to the enroller the significance of recording the individual’s name for UID allotment.
