https://resident.uidai.gov.in/find-uid-eid. This is the official UIDAI website. The second step is to choose either Aadhaar Number (UID) or Enrolment Number (EID). When you have chosen the number you seek, you will put in your data, so your name, e-mail address, mobile phone number.
You will then type in the security code as it is shown on the screen and click on the “Get OTP” option. OTP means “One -time password”. This one- time password will then be sent to your mobile phone or to your e-mail. Wherever it is you have received this OTP, you will click on the “Verify OTP” button.
After that, a message will be sent to your mobile phone, containing the Aadhaar or the Enrolment number, whichever you have sought. When you get the number, you will then visit this website: https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
Here you will have to select your UID or EID. Put in your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID, your full name, pin code, security text as shown in the tab and your mobile phone number. A one-time password will be sent to the registered phone number. You will use that OTP and put it in the “Enter OTP” tab and then press “Validate and Generate”.
Your Aadhaar will be processed as a PDF file you will be able to download. You can take some fine paper and copy the file, then laminate it and you have a duplicate of your Aadhaar Card.
To duplicate the card offline, you will have to follow this procedure. You ought to call the UIDAI’s toll-free number 1800-180-1947 or 1947.
